The St James Contemporary Choir brought the audience to their feet with their jubilant praise.

“God is blowing across this land and His breath is life,” said Field Director Pamela Cahill as she told how He is moving in New England.

“Our focus is on the new generation” stated Remi Ayida of Nigeria, introducing four young women who sang a praise song in their native dialect. It was a taste of heaven as people from around the world entered into this sweet time of praise to the God of all nations.

Dr. Brenda Salter McNeil introduced us to her friend Sam, a woman
“stuck in her stuff” as described in John 4.
“Jesus has a way of coming to you when you least expect it.”
“Most people whose lives are messed up already know it. Jesus makes her want to engage Him. Would to God our evangelism would be so inviting people would want to know more.”
“We’re thirsty people—that’s why we keep visiting the same well.”
“Before Jesus can give us the real thing, we’ve got to give Him the counterfeit.”
At the closing invitation, two women responded—giving their lives to Jesus! Praise God!

Geneva Vollrath closed with this challenge, “Who will go?”
One by one, voices echoed from the audience. “Here I am. Send me.”

This was the capstone of the event! Dr Brenda Salter McNeal and the St. James Choir were God’s ordained ministers as were all the participants on stage that morning whether they came from near as NE or from far off as Nigeria. My heart was changed in a moment of very personally receiving my Chazown vision form God. Once dark holes in my soul now filled with His light … now as the song says “Shine Jesus shine let the whole world see and know my Saviour … go forth in ‘my’ feet to those who you are seeking to have their dark holes filled and “leaking” light … Your light” Love them through me, keep me pure and holy looking to You and reaching out my arms to all. The whole weekend was amazing. Still processing all I saw and heard and learned!
Upon our arrival in Kansas City, for the Chazown event, we were greeted with open arms and big smiles. The first evening was relaxed as some of us gathered in the Presidential Suit with Geneva and company. The next morning the excitement swelled as more arrived to register for the events. We met up with old friends and began meeting new ones. Then we got down to business with sharing with others, in our same positions, with Stonecroft. Everyone had great reports on that.
Times of worship mingled with an outstanding keynote speaker and others who shared vision and tools for outreach made for an event to remember and ponder for some time to come. I was brought to tears several times as we heard Dr. Brenda Salter McNeil teach about Sam the Samaritan Women at the well. I recognized my own insecurities as I listened to Elisa Morgan tell of her lack of understanding toward her neighbor. And I could barely stay seated as we worshiped with the St James Contemporary Choir on Sunday morning. We heard amazingly gifted musicians and went to break out sessions designed to help us with our work for the Lord. And then there was that Celebration Luncheon where we truly celebrated 70 years of Stonecroft Ministries. We saw pictures of a young Mrs. Baugh and Miss Clark. And we saw a vibrant Millie Stamm and photos of women in the 60s and 70’s with great “hair dos”. The “heart of Stonecroft award was presented and we met over 100 international attendees. What a treat! There was the trip to Stonecroft Headquarters where we saw more friends and most of all enjoyed seeing the manor in its new make-up and welcoming freshness.
One highlight for me was the Saturday morning prayer time with Pauletta Staley. As we arrived Holly Berry played inviting music on her flute. This truly led us to the throne of the Father. The roof was nearly opened up as we heard the passionate prayers in many languages as we all prayed together. As we Praised and Prayed the Holy Spirit came among us and we were truly blessed and prepared for the remainder of the conference. I was not ready for it to be over.
New ideas to reach our hurting world were presented in different ways. I took away a sense that we must do whatever it takes to win souls that long to be close to God. He has a desire to love on us, all of us. All over the world people are getting acquainted with Jesus. The questions that I must ask myself and that you must ask as well are this: What will I do to help?
How far am I willing to go? Do I trust HIM enough to completely surrender everything I do in order for HIM to use me to the full extent of my potential?
Sunday morning was the culmination of an incredible Stonecroft weekend..meeting and greeting women and men from 43 states and 10 nations!
Dr. Brenda Salter McNeil’s story of her friend Sam (the Samaritan woman at the well) opened the door for God to reveal Himself to me in a very moving new way.
In preparation for this, new soil had been tilled and fertile ground prepared in the course of the presentations, worship and prayer, music, vision, new friends, networking and more. On this ground, Jesus came in a way I least expected and gave me drink.
