I know that God is going to do a great and mighty work. I pray that as a group of women who love Jesus you are filled to overflowing with the passion to reach others for Christ. (Overflowing so that when you come back to your area we can't help but catch "it" from you. ) I do believe that God is going to use this difficult time in our country to bring people to Him. We need to be prepared and ready to "share the hope that lies within us". Worship, love, pray, be encouraged, be filled, inspired and changed forever. Then bring it home and share it with the rest of the team of volunteers in your area. Your Sister in Christ. (and about 100 others) Wow, what a powerful reminder of why we were called to be in this ministry in the first place! I was one of the first to register for Impact. Would have been the 1st ... if I had not had to be released from the hospital first. :) Why am I going to Impact? Why am I encouraging others to go? I could not, not encourage others to go! I have been going to Stonecroft events and conferences since I was a young woman 32 years ago. After my first conference in 1976 my young husband said he would make sure I could go every year ... that the woman he got back was a new woman filled with enthusiasm and passion for reaching "the girl next door." Why would I not be, God had reached me through this wonderful ministry and then equipped me to go out and reach out in love, to the next soul who iwas and is as needy as I was. We are all as bad off as we can be without Christ! And that is my job as a Christian woman to love and IMPACT the women in my world with the gospel of Jesus Christ and then to equip them in turn, to go and do likewise. My husband is still making it possible all these years later for me to go, and be, and do, and to help other women do the same. Very often he goes with me because he is a tried and true Stonecroft man. I could not do what I do without his backing and support. I have said all this to say if you have not made a commitment to go yet, you need to get down on your knees and ask God if He wants you to go. Then get up expecting Him to make it possible. Back then I had 7 children I needed to Impact now I have forty five grandchildren I need to Impact. I am still too busy but I am too busy to not go. I still come back a better woman ready for what the Lord has called me to do ... See the fields? They are white for harvest ...go to Chazown Impact 08, then come home and tell them what wonderful things the Lord has done for you! And will do for them.
